Dishwasher PositionAvalon Care Center Honolulu is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and dedicated dishwasher to join our outstanding team! $19.97/hr On-call also available. Come join our team! We offer great challenges, a rewarding career, and opportunities for advancement!Responsibilities:Washing and sanitizing dishesAssisting in food preparation, serving, and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areasChecking that plate and hot base lowerator is heated, steam table is properly heatedEnsuring that accurate serving portions and food items are on each tray before loading to the food cartEnsuring that appropriate serving utensils are used; ensuring that temperatures are within standards (all temperatures are logged and reviewed prior to tray-line)During tray line, ensuring that the trays are garnished, neatly arranged, silverware, cups, and dishes are clean and plate covers are dryAfter tray-line, checking and recording excess/shortage preparation, discussing with the supervisorQualifications:Food Handler's permit/ServeSafe certification as per state requirementsAbility to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in EnglishAbility to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and to work cooperatively with other employeesMust pass drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiryAvalon Health Care Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer
