The environment offers hands-on exposure across AI, cloud infrastructure, software development, and enterprise automation.Job Title - Cloud & Python Systems EngineerLocation - Hybrid in Warren, NJ – 4 days per week in officeRole Type - 6-month Contract-to-HireMust Have Skills:Hands-on technical generalist with experience spanning software development, IT/cloud infrastructure, APIs, automation, systems administration, and troubleshootingStrong Python development skills with Django or comparable Python web framework experienceHands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experienceDocker/container experienceAbility to independently research and solve unfamiliar technical problems across a broad technology stackResponsibilities and Job Details:Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Python/Django applications and backend servicesBuild Python scripts, automation tools, REST APIs, and third-party integrationsDeploy and operate applications in cloud environments, with an emphasis on GCPTroubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, authentication, and integration issuesWork across databases, application servers, APIs, cloud-hosted services, and IT systemsAutomate repetitive engineering, IT, and operational processesSupport containerized applications and modern deployment technologiesAssist with monitoring, logging, application reliability, and securityResearch new APIs, platforms, and technologies and determine practical integration approachesCollaborate directly with engineering and product teams in a small, cross-functional environmentContribute broadly across software development, cloud infrastructure, automation, integrations, and AI initiativesOperate as an adaptable technical problem solver who can move between development and systems/infrastructure work as business needs evolve
