Custodian

Burmen Inc. is looking for a Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will handle General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.This person should have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic and enjoy working with all types of people.Responsibilities:Cleaning: Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfacesMaintenance: Perform minor repairs like replacing light bulbs or unclogging pipesStocking: Keep restrooms supplied with paper towels, toilet paper, and soapTrash: Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of trash in compactors or dumpstersWindows: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrorsEquipment: Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment like floor buffers and power washersGrounds: Mow and trim lawns and hedges, and clean snow from sidewalksRequirements:Follow verbal and written instructionsLift and carry up to 50 poundsSquat, twist, bend, and kneel while using tools and performing maintenance tasksClimb ladders and work from heightsBe familiar with operating, caring for, and storing custodial equipment and suppliesAbout Burmen Inc.:Opened June 29, 2018!
