Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of invoice processing, vendor communication, reconciliations, and other day-to-day accounting functions in a busy, collaborative environment. The company offers a stable workplace, excellent benefits, and long-term growth potential, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, supporting a team, and making an impact.Key Requirements:Prior accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred, but open to candidates with strong work ethic and reliabilityExperience processing vendor invoices, expense reports, and check runsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting softwareAble to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficientlyMain Responsibilities:Process vendor invoices, check requests, and employee expense reimbursementsReconcile and monitor company credit card activityPrepare deposits, issue payments, and follow up on outstanding or uncashed checksMaintain accurate AP records, vendor files, and supporting documentationReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesAssist with journal entries and general accounting support as neededCommunicate with vendors regarding payments and missing informationSupport process improvements within the accounts payable functionPerks & Benefits:Direct hire opportunity$20-24/hour depending on experienceExcellent benefits packageStable, growing company with strong leadershipSupportive team environmentOpportunity for long-term growth and advancementReady to learn more?
