Production Associate

Key Responsibilities: Use an assortment of hand tools to complete daily clean-up duties, such as air hoses, shovels, etc. Operate Forklift, Bobcat, 980 Front End Loader, and Knuckle Boom. Work with minimal supervision, in a safe and productive manner. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Work safely and follow proper lockout procedures. Adhere to all safety, health, policies, procedures, and guidelines. This includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Must work well with others. Performs other duties as assigned. Essentials of Job: Ability to work in small, tight, confined, dark areas. Climb ladders and steps and work safely on uneven ground. Safely operate assigned mobile equipment and machine centers to perform job duties. Lift, push, and pull by hand various weights (light to heavy) of lumber, bark, and sawdust. Stand or walk for long periods of time. Use various hand tools safely and efficiently: shovels, brooms, rakes, chain saws etc. Communicate with and follow directions from supervisors and maintenance personnel. Requirements: Willing and able to: Work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. Work in a hot, cold, noisy, industrial environment. Pull and lift up to 50 lbs. Perform tasks such as lifting, kneeling, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to 12 hours per day. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with wood products. Experience operating a forklift, knuckle boom, or bobcat.
