An Automotive Service Advisor is the first point of contact for service activities and acts as the liaison between customers and the technicians. We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to help ensure our customers are satisfied and that their vehicle will be repaired right the first time and in the shortest time possible. Our incredible team of employees has helped Central Maine Motors Auto Group grow and expand year after year. We’ve had a busy year and are expecting that growth to continue. The ideal Service Writer is capable of treating the business as if it were their own, meeting our high standards, and working in a fast-paced environment. This is a salaried position with commissions. Responsibilities include: Greeting customers in a friendly, prompt and courteous manner Obtaining customer and vehicle information, listening carefully to customer concerns and reporting them accurately Determining maintenance needs of vehicle based on age and mileage Preparing repair estimates Monitoring the progress of customers vehicles each day and keeping customers updated of their progress Explaining all work and charges to customers Candidates should have: High moral character Professional attitude with the ability to develop solid customer relationships An appreciation for teamwork and ability to work with others to advance the vision of the dealership Strong communication skills A helpful, friendly and flexible attitude toward customers and co-workers Strong computer skills, Dealerbuilt preferred but not required.
