Production Engineer

Coordinate with production departments to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations. Manage daily production schedules and ensure that inventory levels are managed properly. Manage production planning activities, creating a production plan for every part. Ensure timely availability and delivery of high-quality products that meet customers’ needs. Ensure coordination and timely pickup and delivery of in-process materials from local suppliers. Ensures appropriate production rates to reduce delivery delays. Develops and maintains the daily production schedules in coordination with all production departments and teams. Collaborates with managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments. Be the organization’s SME for production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages. Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays. Informs relevant management and other stakeholders of delays. Works with relevant personnel to identify and address inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve quality. Identifies and implements corrective actions to address inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills. Schedules maintenance and repair of machines and equipment used in the production process to avoid downtime or delays. Ensures production machines comply with professional and safety standards. Authur, co-author, or oversee the creation of work instructions for all manufacturing departments. Coordinate with quality department to ensure quality metrics are adhered to in every manufacturing department. Qualifications: • Associates degree in related field, or equivalent industry work experience required, Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. • At least three years of supervisory experience highly preferred. • 1+ year using NetSuite or similar ERP system • Highly professional and dependable Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $79,115.00 - $90,000.00 per year Experience: Supervising experience: 3 years (Preferred) Production planning: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Pittsboro, IN 46167 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Pittsboro, IN 46167: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
