PACOM Project Manager

SMX is seeking a Project Manager to join the integrated program management office (PMO) in a leadership position supporting multiple contracts, task orders/projects, and will serve as a liaison with government points of contact. The ideal candidate will assist the program leadership team with staffing, training, administrative oversight, operations management, and collaborate with multiple technical teams to achieve the overall mission objectives.This position requires a DoD TS/SCI security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contractsEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssists with coordination of priorities and resources between multiple projectsReports status, develop program/project-related documentation, implements lessons learned, and updates and maintains production and quality metrics for assigned programs and projectsSupports operational planning, execution, and evaluation of a multi-faceted program that requires collaboration with customers to identify new project opportunitiesSupports the orchestration/development of operational data calls, report outs, and performance products as required to support and bolster SMX posture for current and future businessEstablishes and maintains effective working relationships with the government's program managersDevelops short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures in accordance with contract parametersRequired Skills & ExperienceRequired clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI EligibilityDemonstrable success in government contracting (DoD preferred) through prior work experience in a customer-facing roleExperience working in a role responsible for DoD funding (planning, executing, overseeing)Previous experience in DoD Communication Platforms and Networks; testing/evaluation and/or operationsPrevious experience in tactical and enterprise network operations, preferably in a leadership roleKnowledge of process improvement techniques and ability to direct improvement initiativesExperience interacting with and briefing senior government and industry acquisition leaders on topics related to programmatic, technology, and financial statusExperience supporting large contracts leading complex development, production, fielding of platforms, and/or support initiatives with technical objectivesExperience with the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) in a Program Management or Technical Leadership roleDesired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer engineering, business, or a related discipline – desired MA/MSDeep understanding of and relationships with the Intelligence Community and federal interagency partnersExperience managing global projectsExperience with managing relationships with non-US military personnel15+ years of management/supervision experience in tactical network-related, information technology, or engineering fields/programsBudget management and execution experience#CJPOSTThe SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
