The Speech Therapist creates, plans, develops, and implements speech therapy programs for a diverse population of residents.Full Time: Flexible schedules to accommodate resident population and to allow for a balanced work-life.Pay: Excellent hourly rates SLP/CFY (NEW WAGE SCALE)Perks and Benefits--Job stability in supportive in-house environment-Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and Paid Time Off (PTO)-Eligible for benefits on 1 of month after 60 days-Weekly Pay-Supportive Director of Rehabilitation-Continuing Education Allowance-Professional License Reimbursement-Clinical mentorship and leadership development-Relocation Assistance available to select candidatesJob Duties-· Perform screenings and evaluations of residents with speech language, swallowing and cognitive functioning impairments and other conditions, developing and implementing appropriate Speech Therapy plans of care while adhering to federal and state regulations and clinical standards.· Delivers skilled speech therapy services with the appropriate medically necessary interventions to improve, maintain or prevent decline with their impaired functions.· Complete comprehensive documentation for resident care including evaluations, progress notes, re-certifications, care plans, standardized test, discharge summaries and billing.· Provide consultation and education to residents, families, caregivers, and others to promote quality care and resident outcomes.Job Qualifications-· Must have or be eligible for Florida Speech Therapy license.· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.· Minimum of master's degree in speech therapy· All experience levels considered.IND123Background Screening Clearinghouse Link
