Associate Operator (Operator I)

Light Industrial Us - Associate Operator (Operator I)Perform basic job skills with the oversight of a qualified operator. Clean and maintain tools and work areas. Perform basic functions of the work area. Demonstrates basic math and communication skills. Maintains an orderly work area. Time management. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions precisely. Adheres to Company Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability policies, procedures and values. Interacts and collaborates with peers and supervisors professionally. Demonstrates willingness to assist others in order to achieve work center goals.The Individual Required: A minimum of a High School diploma, GED. A minimum of 6 months of related experience within a manufacturing environment. Ability to perform basic machine adjustments. Experience in a regulated industry (cGMP, SOPs, audits, etc.). Proficiency in computers (i.e.; email, internet explorer, MS Word, etc.). Strong communication skills: Reading, writing, and team interaction. Dependable team player with a "can-do" attitude.Preferred: Experience with SAP. Experience with Lean Manufacturing. Exhibit an ability of mechanical aptitude.Key Working Relationships Internal Partners: Maintenance, Engineering, Quality External Partners: SuppliersWork Environment: The work environment characteristics are representative of a manufacturing, laboratory, or warehouse environment and include handling of viral and bacterial hazards, potentially hazardous chemicals, as well as infectious or potentially infectious bodily fluids, tissues, and samples. Up to 75% of the time you will be, standing, walking or sitting for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible work hours to meet project deadlines.Work Schedule: "Firemen's Rotation": Two 12 hour days (6:00am-6:00pm) followed by two 12 hour nights (6:00pm-6:00am) 4 days on-3 days off
