SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking, and engaging faculty member to join the School of Applied Technologies starting Spring 2026 (January, 15th start date).Applications are being accepted for a full-time, 10-month (off contract for 2 months in summer) tenure-track faculty member in the School of Applied Technologies and Architecture, teaching Construction Technology and Management (AAS/BT) courses. The successful candidate will be able to teach various courses (based on experience) in Delhi's Construction programs. Possible instructional subjects include: residential and commercial construction, site engineering, estimating, scheduling, project management, surveying, building codes, site management, and engineering-based courses.Faculty members in our Construction Technology and Management programs are responsible for the following:Program DevelopmentParticipate in annual systematic assessment of the program.Participate in analyzing data and recommending curriculum and programmatic revisions where necessary. Teaching ResponsibilitiesProvide evidence-based instruction following the policies set forth by the CollegePost and keep regular office hours for the convenience of studentsParticipate in the assessment of course, student learning, and program outcomesIncorporate student service-learning opportunities AdvisementAssist in the advisement of studentsGuide and counsel students toward personal and career developmentTrack students' completion of progression requirements Academic & Organization CommitmentServe on campus committeesMentoring Adjunct FacultyParticipate in full and part-time faculty meetingsParticipate in accreditation reviews and reportsEngage in the academic and organizational life of the collegePursue scholarly interests Requirements:Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years. of professional experience within the field.NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in a related field with three years of professional experience in construction.Seven or more years of professional experience in the construction fieldExperience in teaching or working with young adultsDemonstrated ability to teach diverse populationsUnderstanding the value of civic engagement Additional Information:Start date: January 15, 2026Salary:Bachelor's degree holders: Starting at $51,000, Commensurate with experience/certifications.Master's degree holders: Starting at $55,000, Commensurate with experience/certifications.This is a 10-month academic year, tenure-track positionThis position offers full New York State UUP (FT) benefits, which are among the most comprehensive in the country.Click here for more Information for Prospective EmployeesSUNY Delhi has a strong commitment to Affirmative Action and Cultural Diversity.
