Our process begins with a physician who evaluates the patient during a scheduled virtual visit. With access to medical records prior to the visit, we can improve the patient care experience and provide a thorough and complete clinical assessment. Our services address the range of patient care needs and eliminate the alternative time-consuming physician office visit or costly emergency room visitsEndocrinology services are provided via live video conference to the adolescent population utilizing our virtual platform. This opportunity offers the flexibility of working from your current private home/office.ResponsibilitiesObtain histories, conducts virtual visits, documents findings, evaluate medical condition, recommend treatment plans, constructs care plans, enlist support from other team members, and promote peace of mind by investing in the patient’s Type-1 Diabetes careAssist in clinical protocol development and implementationProvide text messaging support to patients and their caregivers outside of their regularly scheduled appointmentsDemonstrate flexibility by adapting as needed to change processes and practice in an evolving, ambiguous environmentDelivers patient care that balances the best that medical science has to offer, patient preferences and values, and invests in patients' future confidence and skillsProvide feedback about opportunities to improve the quality of care and operational processesRequirementsBoard-certified physician (MD or DO) from a US-accredited medical schoolBoard-certified in Endocrinology Must possess active, non-restrictive medical licensure in the following states: CA and FL and ILMultiple Active state licensure PREFERREDMust have current DEAA minimum of TWO years experience as a practicing endocrinologist Must have no history of malpracticeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding clinical expertise, evidence-based practiceCompetent in providing patient education at every visitTimely and professionalTelemedicine or virtual care experience a plusBenefitsThis is a 1099 positionCombination Sync and Async Visit type Two-round interview process
