Program Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a proven track record in program development and execution. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects align with organizational goals while managing resources, timelines, and budgets efficiently.
Duties
Lead the planning and implementation of programs and projects from inception to completion.
Utilize change management techniques to facilitate smooth transitions during project phases.
Supervise project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.
Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to define project scope and objectives.
Develop program design and implement project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Lean).
Manage project portfolios effectively while ensuring adherence to quality management standards.
Facilitate meetings to discuss project progress, risks, and resource allocation.
Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
Oversee budgeting and cost control measures for all projects.
Utilize project management software (Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project) for tracking progress and reporting.
Engage in conflict management to resolve team disputes and maintain a collaborative environment.
Apply earned value management techniques to assess project performance against planned objectives.
Coordinate with vendors for resource procurement and manage vendor relationships.
Qualifications
Proven experience in program management with a focus on IT infrastructure or product development.
Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.
Familiarity with various project management tools (Confluence, Basecamp, Smartsheet).
Knowledge of data analysis skills for effective decision-making based on collected data.
Proficient in business process modeling, process mapping, and requirements management.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong negotiation skills for managing contracts and vendor agreements.
Experience in quality assurance practices including Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Six Sigma).
Ability to facilitate presentations clearly articulating project goals and progress updates.
