As we scale, we are investing in building a reliable, scalable, and self-service data foundation that supports product, growth, operations, and business decision-making.We are looking for a hands-on Data Platform Engineer to establish and scale our data foundation. This role will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to build reliable data pipelines, improve data quality, and create the infrastructure that powers business and product decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain data pipelines across product, marketing, advertising, and business systems.Design and improve data infrastructure; contribute to data warehouse standardization to lower usage barriers and improve overall data delivery efficiency.Clean, transform, and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.Establish reliable data models, business metrics, and source-of-truth datasets.Implement data quality monitoring, alerting, and validation processes. Continuously optimize based on user experience.Partner with Product and Engineering teams on tracking, instrumentation, and analytics requirements. Support business stakeholders in data requests and issue troubleshooting.Support reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics as the company scales.Qualifications5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or related fields.Strong SQL and Python skills.Familiarity with the Hadoop ecosystem, including Hive, Spark, Flink, etc., with strong ETL development and performance tuning skills.Experience with AWS data services (S3, Athena, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, or similar).Passionate about exploring data value, with strong business understanding and abstraction capabilities, as well as excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Strong problem-solving skills and startup mentality.Nice to HaveExperience with dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.Experience supporting product analytics or growth analytics.Prior software engineering experience.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree.Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
