Systems Engineer - Model & Simulation
Overview
As a Systems Engineer for THAAD, you define the technical solution for a crucial missile defense system. You will build and validate models and simulations across domains, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet performance, cost, and schedule goals. You drive trade studies, integrate subsystem results, and ensure mission readiness. Key requirementsBachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related fieldFamiliarity with system analysis functions (trade studies, requirements decomposition, architecture design, performance predictions)Programming experience for scientific computing (MATLAB, Fortran, C++, or similar)Basic understanding of missile/launch vehicle/spacecraft/aircraft system architectureAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required)excellent written and verbal communicationstrong interpersonal skillsability to build consensus across teamsMATLABFortranC++
