Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability. Language needed: Creole - Immediate needLocation: Dover, Delaware - IN-PERSON BENEFITS Flexible scheduleMake your own hours and choose the jobs you want!Great way to supplement your income. Potential for 5-10 hours a week.  RESPONSIBILITIES Travel to local client sites, within the Dover, Delaware areaProvide Creole-English interpreting for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and moreProvide superior customer serviceAdhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentialityAdhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices JOB REQUIREMENTS Full fluency in both English and CreoleDaytime availability (between the hours of 9AM - 5PM)Availability to support our interpreting clients 5-10 hours a weekAccess to reliable transportation1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not requiredIndustry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.), but not requiredCandidates must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse RegistryMust have reliable phone service for contactMust be comfortable with using a computer or smart phone for job input By submitting my application, I certify that the information I have provided in this application is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
