Specializing in global cuisine, we work tirelessly with each client for events of all sizes, to build a custom experience that is not only delicious, but memorable.Our corporate culinary team is responsible for the daily execution of our in office meals delivered to clients regularly. This included boxed meals and buffets. We are looking for someone who has high energy, great organization and a passion executing great food. Must have resume attached to application for consideration.Requirements:PAY: $18-25/hourEXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:- 3 year experience in a high volume or catering kitchen environment- Experienced with volume prep and recipe execution- Can follow directives and instructions, on the spot, during busy times- Working knowledge of common weights and recipe measurements- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, neatly both independently and with a team- Skilled in multi-tasking, organization and time management skills- Has advanced knife skills- Broad-based knowledge of techniques, cooking styles and cuisines- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on our event calendarWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING:- Execute prep items and recipes according to directions and specs- Apply safe Food Handling and Sanitation practices when preparing, handling or storing consumable items- Organize and pack cambros and carts by event so they can be loaded and delivered- Help put orders away- Prep items on prep list or other items as directed by chefs and lead cooks- Assist with dishes when a dishwasher is not on shift or needs help during high volume timesALL EMPLOYEES NEED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING:-19 years or older- Food handling card or certification through the approved organization, and ability to apply that knowledge by way of proper food handling- Able to lift and move 50 pounds- Able to sustain working long hours on your feet- Should have reliable transportation to get to scheduled shifts and locations on time, and to get home after your shift- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure- Ability to easily adapt to new settings and new team members- Can professionally follow directives and instructions, on the spot, during busy times- Outgoing high energy personality- Ability to communicate accurate information and needs peers and managers- Is problem and solution-orientated- *Servers and bartenders need TIPS liquor certificationAdditional Info:Other info:Website: http://www.conceptuallysocial.com/
