Engineering Program Manager

Job Title: Engineering Program managerJob Summary: Scoping the development of drivers, applications, protocols, frameworks, and command line utilities for validation of hardware internally and in manufacturingSupporting bring up of new SoCs, chipsets, sensors, and productsInteracting with Hardware, OS, Test, Operations, and various other cross functional teams throughout client products.Enabling test strategies for new components in upcoming productsSupporting new product development builds locally and remotelyFirst level of triage for test and software issuesHands on debugging or coordination of cross-functional debug, as appropriateDriving issues, tracking tasks, and evaluating priorities on a daily basisDriving and enabling process improvementsWorking with our engineering team to define, schedule, track, and communicate the status of software features and deliverables to other groups and executive management.Communicating status to the executive management on a regular basisEducation: BS Electrical / Computer Engineering or relevant work experience (MS is a plus)Key Qualifications:Embedded Engineering experience: 2-5 yearsProgram Management experience: 5 yearsGood understanding of software developmentUnderstands and deals well with rapid development cyclesEffective communication skillsAbility to drive issues, track tasks, and evaluate priorities on a daily basisStrong Embedded Engineering fundamentals is desiredManufacturing experience and prior exposure to working with Contract Manufacturers is highly desiredLinux command line / scripting experience is a plus
