Pizzeria Delivery Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizzeria Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering hot, fresh pizzas and other menu items to customers efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have previous delivery driver experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle heavy lifting from time to time and other tasks around the store. A strong commitment to excellent customer service and safe driving practices is essential for success in this position. Duties Safely operate car to customers house Load and unload food items, ensuring proper handling to maintain quality and presentation Deliver orders promptly to customers’ locations, providing friendly and professional service Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency Handle cash or electronic payments accurately when required Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times Communicate effectively with the restaurant team regarding delivery status or any issues during routes Take orders in store & over the phone Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Prior delivery driver experience, especially in food service Familiarity with surrounding areas (Somerset, New & North Brunswick NJ) Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to work independently while managing time effectively Ability to lift up to 25-35 pounds and make pizza boxes as needed Ability to work 20-60 hours weekly Manage and take orders in store & over the phone Must have experience using POS machine This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of our team by providing excellent service while ensuring timely deliveries.
