Role: Sr. Python Database Developer
Job Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 6-12+ months
Visa Type:- No OPT/CPT/H1BRequired Technical SkillsPython: Strong hands-on development experience, including databaseconnectivity, scripting, and automation.
SQL:
Advanced SQL programming, complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and query optimization.
Database Development: Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.Stored Procedures: Experience developing procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
Performance Tuning: Query execution plans, indexing strategies, and database optimization.
ETL:
Experience with data extraction, transformation, loading, and database integration. Data Modeling: Strong understanding of relational database designand normalization.
Tools: Git, REST APIs, SQLAlchemy, Pandas, and database managementtools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with large-volume enterprise databases.
Knowledge of AWS or Azure database services.
Experience with financial services or banking applications.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Mandatory Requirements:
Strong hands-on Python + SQL + Database Development experience.
Database development expertise is essential; Python-only developers will not be suitable.
Must be available for in-person work in New York City, NY.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
