Job Title: Makeup Artist (Costume / Drag)Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA 90039Duration: May 18, 2026 – July 3, 2026Schedule: Part-time, a few days per weekOverview:We are seeking an experienced Makeup Artist with a strong background in costume and drag makeup to support a short-term research study. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to execute bold, character-driven looks while collaborating closely with a creative and research-focused team.Responsibilities:Design and apply professional makeup looks focused on costume and drag aestheticsAdapt makeup styles to support study requirements and creative directionEnsure consistency and quality across multiple sessionsMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary makeup workspaceCollaborate with wardrobe, production, and study staff as neededQualifications:5+ years of professional experience as a Makeup ArtistDemonstrated experience with costume and/or drag makeupStrong understanding of color theory, contouring, and dramatic makeup techniquesReliable availability throughout the study periodProfessional, collaborative, and detail-oriented approachNice to Have:Experience working on research studies, performances, or productionsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced or structured environmentCompensation: $30 to 50/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
