Lead Engineer - Security API integrations

An early-stage cybersecurity startup on a mission to change how security data is connected, normalized, and used. If you’re excited by solving hard problems, shipping fast, and building integrations from the ground up, this is the place for you.The Role I am looking for a Backend Integrations Engineer who loves rolling up their sleeves and building clean, scalable integrations with security tools. You’ll focus on APIs from major vendors like Microsoft and Palo Alto, helping us quickly expand our ecosystem. This is not an ETL role—the data pipeline is in place. Your job is to make sure the right data gets into it by creating robust connectors that just work.What You’ll DoBuild new integrations with APIs from top security vendors (Microsoft, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Okta, etc.).Ingest and normalize logs from a wide variety of sources into our platform.Write efficient, reliable backend code in Rust and Go.Iterate quickly—prototyping, testing, and shipping integrations to production.Partner with other engineers to shape our integration framework and best practices.Stay ahead of vendor API changes to keep integrations stable and current.What You Bring3+ years of backend engineering experience.Strong skills in Rust and/or Go (ideally both).Proven experience consuming REST APIs and building integrations.Hands-on experience with security vendor APIs (Microsoft, Palo Alto, etc.) or a strong desire to dive in.Comfort working with log data (JSON, syslog, CEF, etc.).A builder’s mindset—you thrive in ambiguity and like creating solutions from scratch.Bonus PointsExperience with Kafka or streaming platforms.Exposure to SIEMs, EDRs, or identity providers.Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Why Join UsEarly seat at a fast-moving startup solving big problems in security data.Work directly with founders and a small, senior engineering team.Tons of autonomy and ownership—you’ll see your code in production fast.Competitive comp, equity, and fully remote flexibility.
