Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated Test Engineering Intern to support our Product team. This internship is ideal for a STEM student with an interest in biomechanics, applied engineering, and product development who wants hands-on experience working with real-world hardware, software, and data in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The Test Engineering Intern will contribute to ongoing product development efforts by assisting with testing, data collection, validation, documentation, and cross-functional projects, including integration with third-party systems. This role offers exposure to the full product lifecycle – from early testing and validation through documentation and issue resolution. We are always looking for talented individuals who share our passion for improving human performance and wellbeing.Position HighlightsTitle: Test Engineer Intern Location: Onsite in Columbus, OH Department: ProductReports To: Product Development ManagerAdditional Details:Hourly pay based on skills and experienceUp to 40 hours per weekResponsibilitiesAssist the Product team with hardware and software testing, including test execution, result documentation, and basic issue investigation.Support data collection activities for ongoing projects, including setup, execution, and organization of test data. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on ongoing development and third-party integration projects. Assist with data validation and verification to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results. Create and maintain technical documentation, test protocols, and reports to support engineering and product teams. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and suggesting improvements where appropriate. Required QualificationsCurrently pursuing a STEM-related degree (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field).Interest in biomechanics, applied engineering, and/or product development.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test procedures and documentation standards. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a biomechanics or engineering lab environment (academic or research).Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, or Microsoft Excel for data analysis.Understanding of hardware/software interaction, sensors, or data acquisition systems.Prior internship, research, or project experience related to engineering or product development.
