Kitchen Guard of Phoenix Jr. Fire & Life Safety Consultant (Jr. FLSC) Position Overview
The Jr. Fire & Life Safety Consultant (Jr. FLSC) is responsible for generating new business through prospecting, inspections, and closing fire & life safety service agreements with commercial kitchen operators.
This role is designed for driven, entry-to-mid level sales professionals who want to develop into high-performing territory managers within the fire & life safety industry. This individual must have their own reliable vehicle.
At Kitchen Guard, Jr. FLSCs are trained to educate, protect, and sell—helping restaurant operators stay compliant while building a strong, recurring revenue book of business.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Generation
Generate new business through daily prospecting and territory canvassing
Conduct kitchen exhaust and fire safety inspections
Present solutions aligned with NFPA standards
Prepare proposals and close new service agreements
Self-Generated Pipeline
Actively build and maintain a personal pipeline of qualified prospects
Generate a minimum of $10,000 per month in self-sourced revenue
Balance company-provided and self-generated opportunities
Customer Engagement
Build relationships with restaurant owners, operators, and managers
Educate customers on fire safety risks and compliance requirements
Deliver a professional and consultative sales experience
CRM & Activity Management
Track all activity, inspections, and opportunities in CRM
Maintain accurate pipeline and follow-up cadence
Participate in weekly sales meetings and reporting
Performance Standards
Minimum Monthly Revenue: $20,000
Self-Generated Requirement: $10,000 minimum (50%)
Consistent prospecting and inspection activity required
Performance is measured weekly and monthly
