Class A CDL Driver- Flatbed

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class A CDL Driver specializing in flatbed operations to join our team. This position involves transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including flatbed and adhering to all federal and state transportation laws Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delivery issues Assist with the loading and unloading process as needed, ensuring proper handling of freight Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road Experience Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record Proven experience operating manual transmission trucks & flatbeds Prior delivery driver experience required, especially in freight transportation involving route driving and load & unload tasks Familiarity with truck driving regulations and safety standards for commercial vehicles Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is a plus Experience handling freight in various conditions and managing route schedules efficiently This position is ideal for experienced drivers seeking a professional role that emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliability in freight transportation.
