Project Manager – Project Manager – Low Voltage & Integrated SystemsLocation: DMV AreaCompensation: Competitive salary ($100,000–$150,000)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of complex structured cabling, telecommunications, security, and integrated low-voltage systems projects across healthcare, commercial, data center, and mission-critical environments.This role is responsible for managing multiple low-voltage construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, budget performance, and full compliance with industry standards and client expectations.Approximately 70% of the portfolio is healthcare-focused, so experience in hospital or life-safety environments is highly desirable, though not mandatory for strong candidates with comparable complex project experience.The ideal candidate brings a broad understanding of integrated building technology systems and experience operating within a union construction environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementManage telecommunications and low-voltage projects from kickoff through final turnover.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower forecasts, and resource plans.Lead coordination meetings with clients, general contractors, and internal field teams.Supervise subcontractors and union field personnel to ensure alignment with project scope and quality standards.Oversee project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and change order management.Ensure projects are delivered profitably while maintaining safety and quality standards.Technical Scope OversightCore systems may include:Structured cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A)Fiber optic backbone & horizontal distributionTelecommunications infrastructureNurse call systems (healthcare environments)Telemetry systemsAccess control systemsCCTV & security systemsAudio/visual systemsDistributed Antenna Systems (DAS)Integrated building technologiesExperience across multiple systems is strongly preferred.Documentation & ComplianceReview construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders.Ensure installations comply with NEC, TIA/EIA, BICSI standards, and local AHJ requirements.Maintain accurate project documentation and as-built drawings using platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar systems.Client & Vendor CoordinationBuild and maintain strong client relationships.Coordinate with general contractors and other trades on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.Work with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely material delivery.Serve as the primary client-facing representative for assigned projects.QualificationsRequired:7–10+ years of experience in low-voltage / telecommunications construction.Prior experience as a Project Manager managing multiple concurrent projects.Strong knowledge of structured cabling and integrated low-voltage systems.Experience managing project budgets, schedules, manpower, and profitability.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).Experience working in a union construction environment.Preferred:BICSI certification (RCDD or Technician)OSHA 30 certificationHealthcare project experience (nurse call, telemetry, life-safety systems)Data center or mission-critical project experienceExperience managing large campus or multi-site deploymentsWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary aligned to market and experiencePerformance-based bonus structureHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchCompany vehicle or allowance (if applicable)Long-term career growth within a stable, established, and growing organizationOpportunity to work on complex, high-profile healthcare and mission-critical projectsIdeal Candidate ProfileYou are:Highly organized and detail-orientedComfortable managing multiple high-value projects simultaneouslyExperienced in client-facing leadership rolesTechnically strong across integrated low-voltage systemsConfident operating in a fast-paced union construction environmentFocused on delivering projects safely, profitably, and professionally
