Stay hands-on.GP Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead to lead our CRM development function and serve as the senior-most technical expert for our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.In this role, you will define and drive the technical direction for Dynamics 365 Sales, the Microsoft Power Platform, and Copilot-enabled capabilities—while remaining hands-on in the architecture, development, and delivery of solutions that directly impact seller productivity and go-to-market performance.Reporting to the Senior Director, GTM Operations, you will partner across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and IT to translate business strategy into scalable, high-performing CRM solutions.What You'll DoOwn the Dynamics 365 PlatformLead the technical vision and architecture for Dynamics 365 Sales, Dataverse, and the Power Platform ecosystem.Ensure the CRM environment is scalable, performant, and aligned to evolving go‐to‐market needs.Drive adoption, optimization, and modernization of platform capabilities.Stay Deeply Hands-OnDesign, develop, and maintain solutions using:C# /.NET plug-insJavaScript / TypeScriptPower Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI)Build and extend Copilot-enabled workflows and automation solutions.Architect integrations and complex business logic within the CRM environment.Lead CRM Innovation & AI IntegrationDrive the implementation and evolution of Microsoft Copilot for Sales, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI services.Identify opportunities to embed AI into workflows to improve efficiency, automation, and seller productivity.Stay current on emerging Microsoft ecosystem capabilities and apply them strategically.Partner Across the BusinessCollaborate with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and IT leaders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Act as a technical advisor aligning CRM capabilities with go-to-market strategy.Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and focused on business outcomes—not just technical execution.Lead & MentorManage and mentor a Senior D365 Engineer, supporting development and technical growth.Establish best practices, coding standards, and development frameworks.Elevate overall team capability while driving delivery excellence.Own Strategic Vendor & Microsoft RelationshipServe as the primary technical interface with Microsoft.Manage the partnership to ensure GP Strategies is leveraging platform capabilities effectively.Stay aligned with Microsoft roadmap changes and influence direction where possible.What Makes You a Great FitRequired Qualifications8+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365 / Dynamics CRM development experienceExpert-level proficiency in:C# /.NET plug-in developmentJavaScript / TypeScriptMicrosoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI)Proven experience building and scaling enterprise CRM solutionsBackground in a consulting, systems integrator, or Microsoft partner environment (Big 4, boutique, or similar)Strong ability to translate business needs into technical architecture and solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with:Microsoft Copilot for SalesCopilot StudioExposure to RevOps, Sales Technology, or Go-to-Market systemsExperience leading technical strategy while remaining hands-onAbility to influence and partner across business and technical functionsWhy This Role Stands OutThis is not a pure architect or people leader role—you'll own the platform and still build.You'll have the autonomy to define technical direction, integrate AI into real workflows, and directly impact how sales teams operate.If you're a hands-on D365 expert who wants true ownership, visibility, and influence, this role offers a rare combination of technical depth + strategic impact.
