Speech Language Pathologist, 26/27 School Year

The Neosho School District is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to students across the district. The Speech-Language Pathologist supports student success by assessing, diagnosing, and providing interventions for communication disorders in accordance with state and federal regulations. This position is an active member of the IEP team and collaborates closely with educators, administrators, parents, and support staff.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvaluate students with speech, language, voice, and/or communication disordersDevelop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to studentsDevelop instructional materials and targeted interventions to support student progressMaintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with IDEA requirementsCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student outcomesSupervise and support speech-language implementers/assistants as assignedParticipate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and professional development activities QualificationsMaster's degree in Speech-Language PathologyValid Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist licenseMissouri DESE Student Services Certificate (Speech-Language Pathologist) or eligibility to obtainStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of special education law, IEP development, and school-based service deliveryAbility to work collaboratively within a team-based educational environment
