Family Ministries College Intern

JOB SUMMARY: As a Family Ministries Intern, you'll have the exciting opportunity to invest in the next generation by supporting one of our ministry areas such as Kids, Students, Young Adults, or Foster Care. Your placement will be based on both the current needs of the church and your skills and interests. Whether you're passionate about investing in children, teenagers, young adults, or making a difference in the lives of foster children, this internship will provide you with hands-on experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while exploring your passion for ministry. The Christ Fellowship College Internship Program is dedicated to developing students for future ministry roles. Within our program, college interns have the invaluable opportunity to learn from experienced leaders in a supportive team environment that fosters both personal and professional growth. College interns are empowered to shape their futures and effect positive change for those they serve, all while gaining practical ministry skills. The College Internship Program consists of up to 25 hours of work per week and runs from August 17, 2026 to August 6, 2027. We're looking for individuals who:Are enrolled in full-time college classesHave completed at least their Sophomore year of college (60 credit hours) and are at least one year removed from High SchoolCan work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekendsBelieve they have a vocational call of ministry on their lives You will be required to: Continue your education with enrollment in a minimum of twelve college credit hours per semesterBe in good academic standing and maintain a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher You will be challenged by:Developing your leadership skills and taking your God-given talent to the next levelAccomplishing tasks and developing ideas to help strengthen different areas of ministryGain hands-on experience in administration, communication, and teamwork within a ministry contextWorking collaboratively with staff members to recruit, train, invest and lead volunteersExpanding your developmental and logistical knowledge of leadership and operationsMeeting with a supervisor directing your professional developmentBeing evaluated and coached quarterly Intern selection will be determined by:Needs of the ministryEnrollment statusTeam chemistry as demonstrated by the active role held in a particular area of ministryReliability and commitment shown through previous interactions with supervisors and staffDesired future ministry goals JOB SPECS: Classification: Part-time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) up to 25 hours per week.
