Ocean Logistics Manager

Description: Coordinate day-to-day import of ocean freight shipments from around the world into the US with a focus on providing high-level communication to vendors and co-workers in a detail-oriented environment. This includes managing carrier/broker relationships, negotiating rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ocean freight processes, customs regulations, and international trade. Location: Old York Rd, Abington, PA 19001 General Responsibilities: Manage the full cycle of ocean freight shipments, from booking to delivery Organize and process ocean freight quotes from brokers and vendors Assign orders based on best routing/transit options Communicating with customers to keep them updated on their shipments Coordinate with internal teams (sales, customer service, etc.) to ensure smooth communication and execution of shipments Process shipment related documents Requirements: Experience dealing with logistics management, especially in an international setting Must be local to the Abington, PA area with reliable transportation Essential computer and Microsoft Office skills Detail oriented Effective communicator Multi-tasker Ability to work both alone and in a team environment Motivated/ Eager Work Ethic Salary: Commensurate with experience.
