If you're adaptable, enthusiastic, and love engaging with people, this opportunity is for you!Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their buying experienceStocks merchandise and rotates, stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandisePerforms merchandise inventory as directedSets up displays and stocks shelves, coolers, counters, bins, tables, freezers, containers, or trays with new merchandise.Close or open the storeStay up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customersMaintain a clean work spaceFollow all safety and health guidelinesOther duties as assignedGuide customers utilizing Seaside Markets core values of Excellent Customer Service, Quality Products, and CommunityCore Values:Customer-Service Excellence: Strive to exceed customer expectations by providing personalized and exceptional service.Quality Products : Get excited about our unique product offerings! Clearly communicate with teammates and customers to create a smooth operation in the store.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Age 18 or older to handle alcoholic beverage transactions (California state law).Previous customer service experience preferredLanguage and Math Ability : Read, write, and perform basic math accurately.Food Handler Certification required.
