Wall System Installer

SUMMARY Provides support to the Wall Systems Team by doing installation of Wall Panel Systems at various customer sites by doing the following: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include: § Must read blueprints, read a tape measure, and read installation shop drawings. § Communicate with General Contractors as needed to discuss issues in the field and attend any jobsite meetings. § Communicate with Office/Project Managers any issues in the field that need to be addressed regarding jobsite conditions or product. § Take field dimensions as needed. § Off load product from truck at jobsites and be able to operate Forklift/Sky Track. § Use power tools necessary for proper installation such as Skill Saw, Table Saw, Chop Saw, Router, Screw Gun, Chalk Gun etc. § Have knowledge of basic installation methods for Wall Systems and/or Casework. § Have the knowledge to be able to field apply edge banding and laminate and be able to kerf/machine product as needed. § Be proficient in installing product in a time frame necessary to complete job in a timely manner. § Must be able to work independently and without direct supervision. Other Requirements: Must have some level of OSHA training or be able to do so. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen for school projects. Must be able to travel.
