Our mission is to give installers a better day on the job — and system owners a better product for life.If you're passionate about clean energy, innovation, and scaling world-class hardware, this is where you'll make an impact.What your day looks like:Designing and building custom test fixturesPlanning and executing tests on Pegasus mounting hardware to validate structural performance and reliabilityOwning module certifications end-to-end, keeping Pegasus products certified with new and existing PV modulesHelping manage certification processes with UL and other certification bodiesWorking with our outside PEs on structural reviews and certification documentationWorking alongside our senior test engineer on test planning, execution, and reportingWhat we're looking for:3+ years of experience in mechanical testingStrong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach — troubleshooting a failure to root cause comes naturally to youProficiency in SolidWorks for fixture and test equipment design (required)Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for test plans, data analysis, and certification documentationShop and fabrication skills — CNC, lathe, and welding experience a plusBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)Ability to work in-office at our Richmond, CA headquarters (required)
