Payment AdminSouth Bend, Indiana (On-site)Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PMCompensation: up to $20/hrLocation: South Bend, INContract Length: 1–2 Month ContractAddison Group is partnering with a financial institution in the South Bend area seeking a detail-oriented Payment Admin to support daily banking operations and payment processing activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior banking or financial services administrative experience looking to gain hands-on operational experience in a fast-paced environment.Job Requirements:1–2 years of administrative experience within banking, financial services, or a credit unionBanking, Financial Services, or Credit Union experience requiredHigh School Diploma requiredBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Must be able to use a 10-key calculatorStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work independentlyStrong verbal and written communication skillsBanking internship experience with understanding of financial terminology will also be consideredResponsibilities:Sort and organize incoming ATM and ITM deposits from multiple branch locationsReview and process checks to ensure accuracy and proper documentationFollow up on invalid or incomplete checks and verify information with third partiesPost trustee collection payments received from bankruptcy attorneysTrack and research ATM and ITM deposited checks requiring extraction or return processingProcess foreign item checks received from branch locationsResearch and resolve inquiries related to mortgage loans, installment loans, and credit card paymentsCollect, open, verify, and post payments within lending and payment systemsMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures and financial regulationsPerform additional administrative and payment processing duties as assignedAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
