Child Care Assistant

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children, while promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Childcare Provider, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds and setting them on a path for lifelong learning and success. Duties: - Provide high-quality childcare to children ranging from infants to preschoolers - Develop and implement engaging and educational activities to support children's learning and development - Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes respect, empathy, and understanding - Ensure children's physical and emotional well-being by providing adequate supervision and care - Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance - Implement behavior management strategies to address behavioral issues and promote positive behavior - Collaborate with other caregivers and management to create a cohesive and effective childcare program - Provide special education support for children with special needs - Provide babysitting services for parents as needed - Maintain a clean and organized environment that is conducive to learning - Administer first aid and provide emergency care as needed Qualifications: - Experience working with children in a childcare setting, including experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers - Knowledge of childhood development and learning principles - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to provide special education support - Experience with babysitting and childcare provider responsibilities - First aid certification - Familiarity with behavior management strategies - Ability to lift and move children as needed This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while developing valuable skills and experiences in childcare.
