Territory Manager

The ideal candidate will be located in the Rockland or Westchester County and from the technical side of the industry, i.e., project management, engineering, field technician, or technical sales. Your primary responsibility will be promoting, demonstrating, and supporting security products manufactured by the various lines we represent throughout the different sales channels in the territory. Your primary goal is to drive activity in the territory to gain mindshare, while supporting and maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction.This role typically involves a combination of field visits for site walks, presentations and demonstrations, along with travel to attend industry trade shows and events.What Sets Us Apart:No quota, no commission – this is the ultimate team positionSupportive team environment focused on personal and professional growthOpportunity to make a real impact in the security industryResponsibilities:Improve brand awareness in the designated territory by driving activity through the different channels, i.e., end-users, system integrators, A&E firms, and distributorsProvide pre-install and post-install support, including technical guidance, technical assistance, product training, and regular follow-ups using our Smart Services Program to ensure customer satisfaction and secure repeat businessBe the Voice of the Customer by communicating customer complaints, and feedback to Senior Management and our Manufacturers in a timely and professional mannerStay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and technological advancements within the security industryThoroughly understand our product portfolio, features, benefits, and applications to effectively communicate with customersConduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers, i.e., system integrators, end users, A&E firms, and distributorsAttend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our products and servicesPromote our integrated and end-to-end solutionsQualifications:Proven security industry experience in project management, engineering, field technician, or technical sales experienceWillingness and desire to see customers face-to-face to ensure they understand the differentiators of a product or solutionCompetitive and ambitious with the ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities through good time managementThe ability to address conflicts or disputes proactively and resolve issues constructivelyThe ability to work in fast paced working environment, learn new product offerings and featuresUnderstanding of network topography and ability to IP network devicesTechnical aptitude and ability to understand complex security systems and solutionsThe ability to program, navigate and present user interface software and appsHigh technical aptitude and high business acumenRequirements:Driver’s licenseTravel will be 80% of the time in Greater NY Metro AreaTravel outside of the territory for major tradeshows and industry events (GSX & ISC West)Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteIf you are passionate about security and ready to take your career to the next level, then join the Rep Firm that values teamwork and innovation, we want to hear from you!
