Company Description The Cotton Board implements and oversees the Cotton Research and Promotion Program, collecting assessments on Upland cotton harvested and ginned in the United States, as well as import assessments on cotton products. Funds are invested in research and promotional initiatives to support the success of U.S. cotton producers and importers. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Memphis, TN, for the position of Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The VP of Finance & CFO will oversee the organization's financial strategy and operations, including developing financial plans, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role will also include analytical responsibilities to support executive decision-making and coordination with internal and external stakeholders on financial reporting and fiscal policies. The VP of Finance & CFO will play a key role in advising on the allocation of funds to maximize the impact of the Cotton Research and Promotion Program. Qualifications Expertise in Financial Planning and Finance managementProficiency in creating and analyzing Financial StatementsStrong Analytical Skills and experience in data-driven decision-makingExperience with Financial Reporting, including compliance with regulatory standardsProven leadership and team management capabilitiesBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferredExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ethical financial practicesExperience in nonprofit or agriculture-related sectors is a plus
