Process Engineer
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORPOSITION SUMMARYResolve technical problems in the production environment in order to achieve plant quality and productivity goals.For this position, please note that we are looking for a candidate that has experience with plastic injection over molding.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESProductProvide input to product design engineers regarding manufacturability issues.Collaborate with product design engineers in resolving production problems.Maintain working knowledge of product function and critical characteristics.ProcessResponsible for maintaining and improving production process performance.Collaborate with quality engineers and production personnel to evaluate internal and customer quality concerns; provide timely and accurate responses and corrective actions.Develop process improvement plans based on pareto analyses of internal defect, fault and downtime data.Provide data, analyses and documentation necessary to request and obtain approval for process deviations.Jointly with quality engineer and production coordinator, review and approve operating, setup, and inspection instructions and verification documents.Provide technical support for the launch of new production processes and products.Support product / process change activities through Change Management system.Production ReadinessWrite and maintain technical documentation and instructions to ensure a safe and productive working environment (e.g. PFMEA and work instructions)Assist with shop floor activities as necessary to ensure compliance with customer delivery schedule (e.g. Changeovers, equipment troubleshooting and repair)Provide training to production team for safe, efficient operation.WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVEREQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing environmentProficient in troubleshooting automated assembly processes.Proficient with MS Office suiteWHAT WE OFFER YOUBENEFITSPPO Medical PlanHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)TelehealthDental InsuranceVision InsuranceGroup Term Life InsuranceAccidental and Death Insurance (AD&D)Short-Term Disability InsuranceLong-Term Disability InsuranceWork/Life Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Referral Bonus (hourly referral up to $1500; salary referral up to $2500)Life Planning Account (LPA) - reimbursement up to $400 yearly for qualifying expenses (ex: gym memberships, massages).12% Discretionary Bonus based on 3 factors (individual goals, team goals, and company goals).401(K) Retirement PlanTuition Reimbursement
