Staff AuditorDesmond & Ahern, Ltd., a well-established and growing CPA firm located on the southwest side of Chicago, is seeking a full-time Staff Auditor for our Beverly office. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in public accounting and client service.Job ResponsibilitiesWork with clients and firm staff from the planning stage through completion of audit engagements Perform onsite fieldwork at client offices Provide quality service to a diverse client base including nonprofits, trade associations, credit unions, pension plans, and small to mid-sized businesses Develop and maintain strong client relationships to enhance client satisfaction Deliver exceptional client support both virtually and onsite as needed QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting required 0 - 3 years of accounting or audit experience preferred; new college graduates are encouraged to apply Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Willingness to travel to client offices as needed Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills with attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint What We OfferCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growth and development Desmond & Ahern, Ltd.
