For a better tomorrow, we play today.Position SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of hourly positions, from entry-level skilled roles within a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring consistent staffing to support production needs by managing job requisitions, partnering with staffing agencies, and building strong talent pipelines through community and school partnerships. As time allows, this individual will also support other recruitment and HR initiatives.VALUESInnovationCommitment and PassionIntegrityTeam and RelationshipsDuties And ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle Recruiting & Requisition ManagementManage and prioritize production and manufacturing job requisitions from intake through hirePartner with hiring managers to identify workforce needs, position requirements, timelines, and candidate profilesUpdate and maintain accurate, relevant job descriptionsUtilize creative sourcing techniques including networking, job boards, referrals, cold outreach, and recruiting eventsScreen, pre-qualify, interview, and evaluate candidates for skills, experience, and cultural alignmentCoordinate and facilitate interview scheduling, feedback collection, and hiring decisionsCreate and extend offers of employment, including preparation of offer details and new hire paperworkEnsure timely, clear, and consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the processMaintain a high-quality candidate experience from initial contact through onboardingEnsure compliance with recruitment policies, processes, and employment regulationsStaffing Agency Partnership ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with external staffing agencies and vendor partnersCommunicate hiring needs, expectations, timelines, and performance standards to agency partnersParticipate in vendor processes, including open position updates, weekly time tracking, invoicing, and performance reviewsReview, screen, and evaluate candidates submitted by agencies for quality and fitMonitor agency performance, including fill rates, candidate quality, attendance, and retention outcomesProvide feedback and coaching to agency partners to continuously improve resultsServe as the primary liaison between the organization, agencies, and contract workforceMonitor contractor and seasonal employee attendance and time reporting using systems such as ADPAddress attendance and performance concerns in real time in partnership with supervisors and agenciesMaintain a strong presence on the production floor to build relationships and assess employee engagementGather and communicate feedback from employees, contractors, and supervisors to HR and leadershipProvide coaching and feedback to contractor employees in coordination with supervisorsMake contract-to-hire recommendations supported by performance and attendance dataPipeline Development & Community EngagementIdentify, develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates. This may include: partnerships with schools, technical colleges, workforce programs, and community organizations.Coordinate onsite tours, career exploration opportunities, and partnership engagement activitiesRepresent the organization at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiativesSupport workforce development strategies that attract early-career, entry-level, and skilled trade talentTrack and evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting partnerships and outreach effortsStrengthen employer brand presence within the local communityData, Reporting & Continuous ImprovementTrack recruiting and workforce metrics including time-to-fill, applicant flow, attrition, attendance, and contractor utilizationMaintain accurate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruiting logsAnalyze trends and identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency and workforce outcomesEnsure compliance with all employment laws, company policies, and hiring practicesATTRIBUTESSense of urgency and follow-through Organization and prioritization Problem-solving and adaptability Customer service mindset (supporting both hiring managers and candidates)ComposureRelationship ManagementCoaching, Training and Developing OthersInfluenceOrganization SavvyRisk ManagementProcess Management and ImprovementQualificationsBachelor’s degree required, preferably in business management, HR, or marketing 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, production, or high-volume environmentsDemonstrate a high sense of urgency, self-management, ability to establish priorities, and work in both independent/team environmentsDemonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize and follow through on commitmentsExperience in a manufacturing environment preferredAbility to independently travel to job fairs or eventsSome evenings and/or weekends may be required Highly relationship-driven, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environmentThe starting target salary range is $67,000 - $82,000, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for a profit-sharing opportunity.
