Customer Care Specialist - Sales

General Summary: Customer Care Specialists are the frontline of Madison Communications, acting as a sales and customer service professional. They handle inbound calls from customers, including new customer sales, upgrading packages, canceling or moving services, and most billing questions. They also perform customer outreach via cold calls and warm leads, driving sales and upgrade opportunities through thorough discovery and positive customer interactions. Proactively researching, selling, and upselling residential packages is a key part of success.Essential Job Functions:Receive inbound calls from, and perform outbound sales and opportunity calls to, new and existing customers.Explain and sell Madison service packages, which can include internet, VoIP, and HDTV, to both new and existing customers.Identify customer needs and pain points, and effectively position the Madison brand as the solution.Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and customers.Track sales progress and market penetration via internal software.Meet and exceed target monthly quotas.Education and Experience:Preferred:1+ years of general sales or customer service experience.Strong knowledge of telecom products such as internet, VoIP, and networking solutions.Required:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable with rejection and handling objections.Working knowledge of negotiation and sales tactics.Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.Proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Must hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to the Madison Communications office.Must be a high school graduate or have received a GED equivalent.Email Us: careers@gomadison.comFor more information and to apply visit, https://gomadison.com/careers/sales/!
