HVAC Technician

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for diagnostics, installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a full-time position with opportunities. This position does require residential & commercial experience to be considered.Duties: -Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settingsPerform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils and replacing filtersDiagnose and troubleshoot system issues to determine the best course of actionRepair or replace defective parts or componentsTest system performance using specialized tools and equipmentExplaining maintenance procedures to customers and providing recommendations for system upgrades or replacementsRecharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning, and refrigeration systemsEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulationsPerform proper inspection of customer systems to prevent future issuesExplain to customers each service and repair performed.Wear floor savers while working in client homes.Inspect area for cleanliness after job completion.Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.Assess systems and assist the customer in making a buying decision through detailed education of system needs as well as a thorough cost/benefit analysis of purchasing a new system.Performing energy-efficiency upgrades, like installing smart thermostats or sealing ductProvide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questionsMaintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service callsMust be able to apply duties to both commercial and residential propertiesExperience: - Minimum of 2 years (required) of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a related field is a must to be considered for this position.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration principlesSheetmetal ductwork experience.Knowledge of the fundamentals of how residential heaters, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment operate and functionProficient in welding and soldering techniquesEnvironmental Protection Agency (EPA) certificationAbility to pass a background check and drug screenGED or high school diplomaMechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagramsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to work independently or as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving skillsMust be very detail orientatedMust have residential and commercial experienceSchedule:8 hour shifts but must be willing to work late on some days that it's requiredWeekends as neededWork Environment Conditions:Extreme Temperatures (Hot/Cold)Climbing, heavy lifting, loud noise, crawling, working in confined spaces, pushing/pulling, carrying equipment, bending, turning, kneeling If you are a skilled HVAC Technician looking for a challenging opportunity with room for growth, we would love to hear from you.
