SANBLAST 1ST SHIFT
Overview: Looking for energetic person who enjoys manual labor and is willing to grow with the company. 1st shift - Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm (some overtime may be required)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a SANDBLAST 1ST SHIFT operator. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and precision of our production processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sandblasting equipment, maintaining a clean work environment, and adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces for finishing.
Wears ambient respirator hood
Works in a closed room environment
Must be able to work independently
Ensure that all materials are processed according to specifications.
Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired results.
Conduct routine maintenance on sandblasting machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
May also assist in other phases of the shop (Racking & Un-Racking of parts)
May use a variety of hand tools
Skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Familiarity with sandblasting techniques and equipment is preferred but not required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.

Qualifications / Physical Demands:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to lift 50#
Hand eye coordination
Ability to stand & sit for long periods of time
Ability to use hands & fingers to handle and feel parts, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch to perform job duties such as racking & un-racking, cleaning, and packaging
Ability to grasp tools (manual as well as some powered) and use them in accordance with a safe working manner so as to not to injure oneself or fellow employees
Must be able to hear and understand verbal communication
Must be able to see and understand written communication
Ability to work independently and with others with little supervision
