You’ll own every aspect of the store’s performance — from sales and operations to community presence and stylist partnerships. More than a retail manager, you are a connector: someone whose existing relationships in the Nashville fashion and creative community will accelerate the store’s growth and establish CAMI NYC as a destination for the city’s most style-conscious women. This role is built for someone who already has a seat at the table in Nashville’s style community — a manager who brings a warm book of stylist relationships, not someone who is building one.ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Drive and achieve monthly and annual net sales targetsBuild and maintain a personal client book with proactive outreach, follow-up, and styling appointmentsManage inventory levels, sell-through, and product feedback in partnership with the home office teamMonitor KPIs including AOV, conversion, units per transaction, and return rateBuild consignment program to expand reach within the marketOperations Manage all day-to-day store operations including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and visual merchandisingRecruit, hire, train, and develop sales associates who reflect the CAMI NYC brandMaintain store standards, loss prevention protocols, and compliance with company policiesPartner with the NYC team on seasonal buys, marketing initiatives, and product trainingCommunity & Stylist Relations This is the dimension of the role that sets it apart. Nashville’s fashion ecosystem is relationship-driven — stylists, editors, influencers, event planners, and social figures shape where the city shops. We expect our Store Manager to be a recognized and respected presence in that world.Cultivate and grow an active network of Nashville-based personal stylists, wardrobe consultants, and fashion creatives who refer and pull from the storeDevelop a formal stylist program including early access and private appointmentsPartner with local event planners, bridal stylists, and musicians’ wardrobing teams for special occasion dressingPlan and host in-store events — trunk shows, styling nights, brand collaborations — that build community and drive trafficRepresent CAMI NYC at relevant Nashville fashion, charity, and social eventsDevelop relationships with local media, boutique hotel concierges, and adjacent luxury brands for cross-referral opportunities Qualifications5+ years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a management role at a luxury or contemporary womenswear brandAn established, active presence in the Nashville fashion and styling communityProven track record of building personal client books and driving clienteling revenueDeep familiarity with Nashville’s broader luxury consumer landscapeExceptional personal style and the ability to genuinely connect with the CAMI NYC aestheticStrong business acumen — comfortable reading sales reports, managing budgets, and thinking like an ownerNatural relationship-builder with warmth, professionalism, and social intelligenceEntrepreneurial spirit — this is a founding store and requires someone who thrives without a playbook Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive base salary, commensurate with experiencePerformance-based bonus tied to store goalsFull health insuranceGenerous seasonal clothing allowancePaid time off CAMI NYC is an equal opportunity employer.
