We are currently seeking a skilled, reliable, and compassionate Oral Surgery Dental Assistant who can confidently support advanced surgical and IV sedation procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.This position is ideal for an assistant with prior oral surgery and sedation experience who takes pride in precision, patient care, and being an essential part of a high-performing surgical team.What You’ll DoAs an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the surgeon and ensuring safe, efficient care throughout all phases of treatment.Chairside assisting for oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, grafting, and related treatmentsAssisting with IV sedation cases, including patient preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia recoveryMonitoring and documenting patient vital signs during proceduresStrict adherence to aseptic technique, sterilization, and infection control protocolsPreparing, maintaining, and breaking down surgical operatories and instrumentsTaking dental radiographs and CBCT imaging in compliance with PA regulationsProviding pre- and post-operative instructions and compassionate patient supportAccurate clinical charting and documentationEnsuring compliance with all OSHA, HIPAA, and clinical safety standardsPerforming additional clinical or support duties as assignedWhat You BringRequired Qualifications:CPR/BLS certificationStrong understanding of surgical instrumentation, sterilization, and infection controlAbility to work efficiently and confidently in a fast-paced surgical environmentExcellent chairside manner with a calm, professional demeanorHigh attention to detail, strong clinical judgment, and ability to anticipate surgeon needsTeam-oriented, dependable, and adaptablePreferred (Not Required):Prior hands-on oral surgery assisting experience, including IV sedation cases is strongly preferredRadiology certification is a plusDAANCE or formal anesthesia-related courseworkExperience with implant and grafting proceduresMulti-location surgical practice experienceWhat We OfferWe offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to support your career growth, well-being, and work–life balance:Competitive pay based on experience, with growth and bonus potentialMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance optionsHealth Savings Account (HSA) with qualifying plansPaid Time Off (PTO), Paid Sick Time, and Paid Holidays401(k) with employer matchLife and disability insurancePaid Parental LeaveUniforms/scrubs providedEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
