Plant Controller

Pegasus Staffing Partners is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead plant-level financial operations and support strategic business initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader with strong operational finance experience and a background in manufacturing environments.The Plant Controller will play a key role in driving financial performance, improving operational efficiencies, and partnering closely with plant leadership to support business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all plant-level financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysisPartner with plant leadership to evaluate manufacturing performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve profitabilityPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements in compliance with GAAPConduct detailed analysis of production costs, inventory levels, labor, and material consumptionLead month-end and year-end close processes for the facilitySupport internal and external audit activitiesEnsure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and applicable state and federal regulationsAssess operational and financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategiesDevelop, mentor, and lead plant accounting and finance staffProvide financial insight and recommendations to support operational decision-makingDrive continuous improvement initiatives within accounting and finance processesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experiencePrior manufacturing industry experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of cost accounting and operational financeExperience with ERP systems required; Infor Syteline experience is a strong plusAdvanced Excel and financial analysis skillsCPA, CMA, or MBA highly preferredStrong leadership, communication, and business partnering abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred ExperienceManufacturing plant finance leadershipInventory and standard cost accountingVariance analysis and KPI reportingContinuous improvement and process optimization initiativesMulti-site or complex manufacturing operations exposureWhy Apply?High-visibility leadership opportunityCollaborative and growth-oriented environmentCompetitive compensation package with bonus potentialOpportunity to make a direct operational impactIf you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, apply directly or contact Pegasus Staffing Partners for confidential consideration.
