Role Summary:The Accounting Manager is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of theCompany's worldwide revenue accounting. This role serves as a technical authority for revenuerecognition across multiple revenue models, including lease-based and non-leasearrangements, and applies U.S. GAAP to complex global transactions.This position exercises significant independent judgment, authors and approves technicalaccounting conclusions, and plays a key role in global audits and cross-functionaldecision-making.Key Responsibilities:• Own global revenue accounting across multiple revenue streams, including lease-basedand non-lease arrangements.• Interpret and apply revenue accounting guidance, including assessing the interactionwith lease accounting where revenue recognition is impacted.• Review complex customer contracts to determine the appropriate accounting treatmentand author and approve technical accounting memoranda supporting revenuerecognition conclusions.• Lead key components of the global monthly revenue close, including complex estimates,account reconciliations, journal entries, and analytical review procedures.• Analyze and manage large, complex revenue datasets across multiple entities, regions,and currencies.• Ensure accuracy and integrity of revenue data across enterprise systems, includingNetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI, and advanced Excel models.• Serve as a primary revenue accounting contact for external audits and respond totechnical audit inquiries.• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable and Sales teams to ensure contract terms areproperly interpreted, applied, and tracked in the ERP system.• Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls, improve data quality, and streamlineglobal revenue processes.Qualifications & Skills:• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant revenue accountingresponsibility.• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with deep experience in ASC 606 and familiarity withASC 842, including demonstrated experience evaluating guidance against customercontracts and preparing and supporting technical accounting memoranda.• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial and operationaldata.• Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency, global environment.• Advanced proficiency in:o NetSuiteo Power BIo Salesforceo Advanced Excel / Microsoft 365• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across global,cross-functional teams.• Exceptional attention to detail and sound professional judgment.Compensation & Benefits:• Base salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year (depending on experience)• Discretionary bonus opportunity• 401(k) with company match• Medical, dental, and vision insuranceAbout RealDRealD pioneered digital 3D cinema over twenty years ago and today operates the world'slargest 3D cinema platform.
