Paralegal

We are a small, fast-paced consumer protection law firm in North New Jersey seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our litigation practice. We represent consumers in matters involving debt collection defense, consumer fraud, and related civil litigation in New Jersey state and federal courts.ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responsesHandle e-filing in NJ courts and federal CM/ECF systemsManage case calendars, deadlines, and litigation workflowsCommunicate with clients to obtain documents and provide case updatesAssist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits and witness coordinationMaintain organized case files and ensure accurate document managementCoordinate with opposing counsel and court personnel as neededQualifications2–5+ years of paralegal experience (litigation experience required)Strong working knowledge of New Jersey civil procedure and court filing systemsExperience with eCourts / CM-ECF strongly preferredExcellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working in a small firm environment with direct attorney involvementParalegal certificate a plus but not required if equivalent experience is demonstratedCompensation$50,000 – $75,000 annually, based on experienceWhat We OfferHands-on litigation experience with real responsibilitySmall team environment where your work has immediate impactOpportunity to grow within a consumer-focused practice
