Lab Technician

Job Description A large chemical supply company is seeking a Lab Technician for a full-time opportunity. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Responsibilities:Partially set-up and mix compounds to predetermined specificationsRead and interpret specification sheetsSet up and maintain production pace while setting up and weighing oils required to run each compoundDocument all material and compound traceability requirementsPerform pre-shift set-upsOccasionally use lift truck and face masksConsistent heavy lifting, occasionally exceeding 50 poundsKeep work area clean and safe Job Requirements Requirements:Must have previous Lab Technician experience with the ability to set-up and mix compoundsMust have the ability to read and interpret specification sheetsMust be able to document all material and compound traceability requirementsMust be able to work in a fast-paced dirty, dusty, and noisy environment while standing all dayMust have a solid work history with no attendance issuesMust have steel toed boots; uniforms will be providedMust be able to perform consistent heavy lifting, exceeding 50 pounds Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Factory or manufacturing experience is preferred, but company is willing to train.
