At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience in full stack application development, specializing in building AI/ML-powered systems and leveraging AI-native development workflows. Proven ability to design scalable applications, integrate LLM capabilities, and enhance engineering productivity using tools like Claude Code and Snowflake Cortex.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and develop end-to-end full stack applications (frontend, backend, APIs)Build and integrate AI/ML and LLM-powered features into production systemsDevelop scalable backend services and distributed systems architecturesLeverage Snowflake Cortex and Snowpark for data-driven AI applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing intelligent solutionsOptimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliabilityAI-NATIVE ENGINEERING EXPERTISE:Strong hands-on experience with AI Model for Code Generation (e.g., Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's GPT-Codex) or similar for:Code generation, refactoring, and debuggingDesigning structured prompts and reusable workflowsAbility to create and manage skills and profiles in AI Models to streamline development tasksExperience with AI-assisted development (Claude co-work model) to improve productivity and code qualityFamiliarity with prompt engineering, reasoning workflows, and human-in-the-loop systemsTECHNICAL SKILLS:Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScriptFrontend: React, Angular (or similar frameworks)Backend: REST APIs, microservices, distributed systemsAI/ML: LLM integration, NLP, model inferenceCloud & Data: Snowflake (Cortex, Snowpark), AWS/Azure/GCPTools: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelinesNICE TO HAVE: Experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databasesKnowledge of MLOps and model deployment pipelinesFamiliarity with large-scale data platforms and ETL workflowsWorking knowledge of snowflake and snowflake technologiesExperience with building production AI assistants at the enterprise levelEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
